Nainital , the most beautyful hill station in India according to my opinion . May be because its my homeland but i i have been to many hill stations but i found it the most apt hill station which really makes you get a feel of hill station . Nainital is said after the lake which exist there , The Naini lake . Tal is referred to as lake in local language over there . This is lake is actually is the main cause whic attracts thousands of visitors every year . Nainital used to be a seasonal hill station in earlier times but now its popularity has grown high now .
Its is very peaceful and calm place to visit .
Nainital was reffered to as the summer city in British times . Britishers Viceroy used to rule the country from Nainital in summers . Weather over there is pleasant throughout the year . Actually Winters never end in Nainital through out the year . Nainital still has the same viceroy heritage home left after by Britishers which is now Governor House these days . I even visited that . It is said that the elevation of this building resembles the Buckingham Palace . It is completly maintainted by the goverment of India now .
Nainital is collection of 7 lakes includes bheemtal,Naukuchiya tal,Saat tal , Khurpa tal , Sukha tal , etc which are situated near to nainital district .
